Brunchin’ in Antigua: Top Brunch Spots on Island

Hey Friends! Did someone say brunch?! Yes, I did! I can’t say it’s my favourite meal of the day because ya girl loves to eat. However, when asked, brunch is ALWAYS the answer. Over the years it has become extremely popular with many restaurants hosting brunches featuring bottomless mimosas, various themes and different specials. It’s no longer just about the food as the dynamics of … Continue reading Brunchin’ in Antigua: Top Brunch Spots on Island

Eat Outs: Boom at Gunpowder House, Antigua

Hey Guys! I finally made it to one of the places I listed on my 2018 Summer Bucket List! I’ve been eyeing this place for quite awhile, but I always thought it’d be crazy expensive given the location. However, this particular weekend it really was a YOLO moment so I went for it. Keep reading to see if I made the right choice 😏 LOCATION … Continue reading Eat Outs: Boom at Gunpowder House, Antigua

Valentine’s Dinner: Papa’s by the Sea, Antigua

Hey Guys! I’m a few days late, but how was your Valentine’s Day? I spent the day having lunch with my best friend, then went out for dinner with my family. Thursdays are usually a little family “ritual” where we go out for dinner, and Papa’s by the Sea was the choice last week. THE LOCATION + VIBE Papa’s by the Sea is located in … Continue reading Valentine’s Dinner: Papa’s by the Sea, Antigua

Sister, Sister – Brunch @ Vino Joe, Antigua

Hey Guys!  Super late with this post but nonetheless here’s another restaurant review! #FoodieFriday As you can see from the title, we’re having brunch. Brunch has become really popular lately especially on social media with the variety of brunch dates. The word brunch itself is a portmanteau (linguistic blend of words) of breakfast and lunch (duh). It’s usually served with an alcoholic drink such as … Continue reading Sister, Sister – Brunch @ Vino Joe, Antigua

Midweek Dinner: Al Porto Restaurant, Antigua

Hey Guys! Finally, another food post. This time a restaurant review. Known for its brick-oven thin crusted pizzas, Al Porto is located in the Jolly Harbour Marina complex. I’ve been here on numerous occasions, but now it’s finally getting a review. There were no special occasions being celebrated simply a random eat out trip. Well, it was also a midweek holiday and no-one wanted to … Continue reading Midweek Dinner: Al Porto Restaurant, Antigua

Eat Outs: 2-4-1 at Sugar Club, Antigua

Hey Guys!

The eating continues, this time at the Sugar Club. This restaurant is located in Sugar Ridge Hotel, one of the most elite resorts on island. However, it is one of two restaurants  available which focuses on daily dining while the other is more suited for fine dining. On Wednesdays, they advertise a 2-4-1 special; previously I thought this was only on Steaks but found out it was on all grilled items.

Venue Setup

The restaurant is located upstairs the gym and gift shop overlooking the pool. It’s quite spacious with just the right amount of lighting and the appropriate decor. When we arrived there were only a few people seated, while a band was setting up to play. There wasn’t anything overly special about the restaurant setup, nothing stood out per se. Brunchin’ Bunch: Bay House Restaurant, Antigua

Hey Guys! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and what better way to spend it than with good company. If you’re regular here or on my Instagram page, you’d probably believe that I live at this restaurant *lol*. I’ve been here quite a few times and if it’s good, why not return? On this occasion, it was for a brunch date as … Continue reading Brunchin’ Bunch: Bay House Restaurant, Antigua

Eat Outs // Bay House Restaurant

Welcome to October!!

It’s a new month, and by now you know how the saying goes: “New month, new goals, new blessings etc etc” I hope it’s all good for you and me both. This month also happens to be my birth month *23 more days*. However, let’s not get into that today; yesterday I decided to try out a new restaurant and here’s a mini review:

Bay House Restaurant & Bar

Over the past few weeks the restaurant started having a special on weekends (Friday – Sunday) with discounted drinks, free shots, music from a live DJ and special menus. Saturdays were dedicated for seafood, which is one of my first loves, so why not visit? They’re open from 12p.m. for lunch, but we got there around 5p.m. for the drink specials. It’s been really cloudy for the past few days, so the sunset wasn’t as spectacular as it usually is. The view is still pretty beautiful though.
