Brunchin’ in Antigua: Top Brunch Spots on Island

Hey Friends!

Did someone say brunch?! Yes, I did! I can’t say it’s my favourite meal of the day because ya girl loves to eat. However, when asked, brunch is ALWAYS the answer. Over the years it has become extremely popular with many restaurants hosting brunches featuring bottomless mimosas, various themes and different specials. It’s no longer just about the food as the dynamics of family breakfast has changed. Therefore, get ready to grab your family, friends or bae, today I’ll be sharing the top brunch spots in Antigua for you to check out. If there’s a spot you don’t see, comment and let me know so that it can be added. Hope you enjoy this list and happy brunching!

The Bay House Restaurant & Bar

If you know me, you’ve probably asked me before if I live at this restaurant, lol. This is usually our go-to spot for group brunch outings, work meetings and lunch/dinner depending on the mood. The number one reason why it’s my go-to spot is because of it’s location and the view (something you never get tired of). They’ve recently refurbished and also switched up their menu quite a bit.

Location: J. Hadeed St Trade Winds Drive (Tradewinds Hotel)
Brunch Days & Hours: Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. // Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Garden Grill

One thing I love about Garden Grill is that it’s never a hit or miss (at least with me). If you’ve been there before, you know what you’re getting and can expect that the next time around. It’s a fave and the atmosphere is as welcoming as it gets.

Location: Dutchman’s Bay
Brunch Days & Hours: Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Contact Information: 464-0207

Cuties Bar & Restaurant

New to the brunch scene and I’ve already heard a few good reviews. I’ll be sure to check them out and also give my own right here on the blog! If you’re looking for somewhere in a central location, this is it. FYI: You get one free glass of mimosa upon entry.

Location: Redcliffe Quay, St. John’s
Brunch Days & Hours: Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Contact Information: 562-1820

Catherines Cafe

A French restaurant right on the beach which gives a different type of vibe to your regular restaurants. I’m always in awe at their content, the atmosphere looks so cozy and welcoming.

Contact Information: 460-5050 // reservations@catherines-cafe.com

Nomad

The first time I had brunch here it was for an event, I’m not sure if that counts but everything was presented so well and tasted great. They recently relocated and I’m in love with the upgrade; there’s more space and just like it’s name, very unique. There will be a review coming soon!

Cafe Bella

A modern cafe, serving breakfast daily. I know here is popular for persons grabbing coffee on their way to work, but there are also various breakfast options and they are opened on the weekends. If you want a quick bite to eat, this is a nice suggestion.

Cloggy’s

I’ve never been here before, but it was a suggestion from a friend. The location also seems pretty picturesque as you have a view of Falmouth Harbour.

Location: English Harbour, upstairs Antigua Yacht Club
Brunch Days & Hours: Sunday 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Contact Information: 460-6910
Menu: To be updated

Like a Latte

A newly opened cafe on Airport Road, lots of seating outside for dining. I’ll suggest making a reservation as early as possible for seating inside because the area is a bit small.

Location: Airport Road (in the complex with Unicomer)
Hours: Monday – Saturday from 8 a.m. // Breakfast is available all day
Contact Information: 736-5453
Menu: https://www.likealatte.com/breakfastmenu

Given the ongoing pandemic and restaurant protocols, I would advise to make a booking beforehand. Other than that I hope you guys enjoy your brunching experience! List will be updated regularly.
