Hey Guys!!
This past Sunday took us a little south of the island in search of some good food. The first place we went to was closed, so we quickly decided on a second option which was relatively close by. It also happened to be my first time being at this restaurant.
The general atmosphere was very relaxing and more than expected when entering first. There’s a wide variety of seating available and we opted for upstairs which had the open view of the sea.
To eat, my mom had the Seafood Chowder for a starter followed by the Sirloin Steak served with rice, while my sister had BBQ Ribs and Fries, and my father and I had Seafood Pasta.
I enjoyed my meal except for the addition of fish; there were a few bones and I’m generally not a fish person (with a few exceptions). I also prefer my seafood pasta without fish, they seem to alway us big chunks of fish which become overbearing.
Side Note: Ya’ll knew I had to visit the beach after lunch. The water was crystal clear but unfortunately the sand wasn’t as smooth as what I’m accustomed to on the western end of the island. I couldn’t help but feel like I was going to step on something I wasn’t supposed to.
After we left the beach it was only right to get dessert since we were going to be passing through town. Fred’s was our option of choice as it’s the most popular ice-cream store. Ice cream can be served in homemade waffle cones and they also make waffles on request.
