Still Growing. Still Changing. Still Learning

We’re not kids forever. Whether you like it or not we are adults and things are going to be different. As you grow into a young adult you realize what it is you really like and dislike, you start thinking about your purpose in life and so much more. As we try different things to find our place in this world we’re continuously growing. As we grow, we change.

Grow through what you go through

When you find yourself getting too comfortable that means it is time to change your routine. When you’re faced with an uncomfortable situation, realize it is time to grow. Whatever is happening in that moment is pulling you out of your comfort zone and pushing you towards greater things.

No-one wants to stay the same forever.

When people come to you and proclaim you’ve changed, I would only hope it’s for the better. Why should you succumb yourself to remaining the same person you were five or ten years ago? You’ve gone through different periods of your life and each of them taught you a lesson, molding you into the person you are today. So yes I have changed and I’ve grown.

We don’t know everything and I don’t know anyone who has the time to learn everything, but we all can learn some things. In fact you learn different things each day, and also have the power to learn lots more. You can learn by traveling and experiencing different cultures, learn by interacting with people outside of your age group, most importantly learn by reading books.

I’m still growing, still changing and still learning. We all are.

The most important thing to do is to accept that this is who you are and this is what life is all about. Don’t get caught up watching other people advance and compare yourself, your time is coming. I know it may be hard to accept that fact, but continue on your quest.
