Two Creme of Nature product reviews back to back? I know I stated in my last post that I had given up on this brand, but it looks like things change. Their new line of products are seemingly hitting the spot and they are also super affordable compared to other brands (MAJOR PLUS). I got this product a little while now, and it’s ALMOST done.
Did you guys know there’s a difference between the terms hydrating and moisturizing when it comes to hair products? *I didn’t* Apparently, a moisturizing product is something you’d use everyday, whereas a hydrating product is used occasionally to replenish your hair when it’s super dry. What if my hair is super dry ALL the time though? Hello, I have 4C hair! With further research I learnt that you’re supposed to first hydrate the hair then moisturize after. Hydrating penetrates the hair fiber, while moisturizing coats the outer surface. Now that we kinda have that cleared up, let’s get into the review.

Product Description
Achieve perfectly defined, soft and shiny curls with less frizz with this hydrating curling cream infused with certified natural coconut oil. This rich styling cream for natural hair is ideal for elongation and providing long lasting hold with shine. Perfect for twist-outs, braid-outs and wash-n-gos.
Product Label
Similar to my Pure Honey Twisting Cream this product came in a 11.5 Oz jar. I definitely have a love and appreciation for jar used products; no pumping, squeezing and all the extra work to get the product out. FYI: Great packaging definitely encourages me to buy a product.
I was skeptical of this product line at first because I never really used anything with coconut milk before. However, the words “hydrating” and “rich moisture” caught my attention. It has no sulfates, mineral oils and petrolatum and uses certified natural ingredients. It states it has rich moisture and shine for soft, defined curls.

Product Review
The product was moisturizing, or should I say hydrating? *lol* The first time I tried it was with a braid out (results above); unfortunately I don’t think my hair was 100% dry. You can see some definition on one size and mostly frizz on the other. The frizziness didn’t really bother me as it added to the spunk of my fro.
On my second try, I decided to do a twist out (shown below) and the definition really came through. However, I’m sure to say if the product really moisturized or hydrated my hair. Despite the looks from the picture my hair felt pretty dry. My twists were in for one week and covered at night with a satin cap. There was no refreshing or moisturizing done in-between. Therefor, I’m not sure if that method aided in the dryness.
As mentioned before I was skeptical on trying products from the coconut milk line, however coconut scented products have now grown on me. This one in particular wasn’t overpowering.
