Tanya and I recently became friends when we realized we were bloggers from the same part of the world (Antigua!). My questions from Tanya:
1/ What drove you to start blogging?
Honestly I can’t remember. I originally started while I was in college and since I didn’t have much friends or anything I wanted to share my college experience being away from home. I didn’t particularly know much about blogging; I used to write posts and not share them with anyone, I was excited if even one person noticed it and commented. It definitely took me awhile to learn and understand WordPress as well as blogging on a whole.
As I continued to learn about the blogging world, other topics began to interest me and I shared those as well (mainly my cooking posts). Then came the themes and logos. To be honest the whole process was exciting for me and I just stuck with it since then. Well I’ve been off and on, but I’m definitely on now!
2/ What is the most exciting thing about blogging?
Sharing my stories and having people express similar feelings or being inspired. There’s also the opportunity of connecting with other people all around the world through social media via my blogging platform. When I look at my analytics page and see the amount of different countries in which people who read my blog are from it really excites me. That all these different people are interested in what a little ole girl like me has to say.
3/ What is your dream job?
Some thing where I can be creative daily and inspire people. I’m not sure what exactly that would be and Caribbean people aren’t too really keen on the creative aspect of life when it comes to making a living. On the other hand I’m also thinking about getting into climate change, probably consultancy.
4/ Tell us your top 3 guilty pleasures?
In no particular order I’d say watching Hallmark Christmas movies or general movie channels on TV and game shows *lol*, reading self-help/inspirational books and a good ole toasted peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
5/ One of the most exciting things that has happened to you?
The chance I got to go to Germany this year
6/ Where/what would be your dream vacation?
A European tour maybe on a cruise
7/ So far, what has been your greatest achievement
Finishing university and getting a job in my field within a year or returning home
8/ Tell us of your dream house, all the details?
Three bedrooms, three and a half baths, a creative room for diys and other activities, office with mini library, and a big kitchen, neutral colors with all the latest appliances and a wine cabinet. A garden as well as a big backyard with a deck and outdoor grill, space to play. Flowers everywhere…… ok I should stop now lol
9/ What are you most passionate about?
Blogging; there are times when I just want to blog and don’t even have a topic.
10/ Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
With a master’s degree excelling at my job, given more responsibilities.
A known blogger within the Caribbean region; a popular brand/host of a blogger group.
In a committed relationship living our best life
11/ Tell us about your spare time, what do you do?
Netflixxxx. Definitely an addict always finding new shows and also something related to blogging.

Your intro made me tear up. I love your dream house especially the big backyard. I remember your post from your trip to Germany. True story I go back to that post very often just to look at the pics.
