Hey Guys!
So, last Saturday while grocery shopping the idea of tacos came to mind. It’s been something I’ve wanted to do for some time now but always forgot. Well, finally I did it. This concoction was simply me going off the top of my head, so a few things may be missing.
Ingredients
- Soft Taco Shells
- *seasonings for meat*
- Chicken Breast
- Steak
- Sweet Pepper
- Onion
- Garlic
- Shredded Cheese
- Lettuce
- Sour Cream
Method
Since all the meats were purchased on the same day they were already defrosted. Therefore, after arriving home we seasoned them and placed in the refrigerator until we (my sister and I) were ready. My sister was in charge of seasoning so I’m not quite sure what all she used. *It was good though*
Cooking time….
- Slice sweet peppers and onion; dice a clove *or two* of garlic
- Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in pan *we did both at the same time*
- Add seasonings; Before they get too tender stir in meat
- Keep watch so they don’t overcook; it’s really simple, basically a stir-fry
We heated up the taco shells in a pan, flipping on both sides then it was time to layer everything.
Meat – Cheese – Lettuce – Tomatoes – sour cream
*sadly I didn’t have any avocados on this day, but we added on the next day and it was bomb!*
Have you guys ever made tacos before?
What do you usually put in them?
Let me know!!
