It’s been a while, huh?
How do you motivate others when you yourself have no motivation?
However, I finally found some and came to share it with you.
I don’t know how many of you picked up on the hint in my title what this post would be about. If not, it’s about #GirlBoss; this has been on my reading list for a while now, but last week Netflix premiered a show.
We all know I had to binge watch; however, I’ll still be reading the book *it’s currently on its way*.
7 THINGS I LEARNT FROM #GIRLBOSS
Do Something you LOVE
If you’re going to start a business or any type of project make sure it’s something that you absolutely love. When you’re in love with what you do it truly shows on the outside. Give it your all and good things are destined to come.
SH*T HAPPENS
Just when you think everything is finally going right, *BOOM* something unexpected happens. However, the key is to not let this deter you; it may slow you down but remember why you started and keep pressing on.
Believe in YOURSELF
You’re going to have a lot of people who won’t understand your vision or believe in your potential. It’ll be hard to get through this, but you can’t give up.
MAKE THE BEST OF WHAT YOU HAVE
Not everyone has all the resources needed right away to fulfill their dreams, but once you learn to make the best out of what you have you may be surprised at what you can achieve.
Eureka!
Ideas are a tricky thing. You can brainstorm for hours trying to find the perfect “thing” (slogan, brand name, logo, title etc) and still everything seems BASIC. But when you find it, it’ll just happen and you’ll know THIS IS IT.
HELP me, please
Yes, it’s your idea. YOUR brand; your baby/life/goal and all of that but there are somethings you just can’t do on your own. The quicker you realize this the easier life gets.
Breaks are NECESSARY
We know you want to get everything done as soon as possible, so the world can see how AWESOME you are….but don’t forget to REST. That’s important too.
Have you watched the series on Netflix? What did you think?
Did you read the book? Lessons learnt?
Let me know!
