In My Kitchen // Banana Bread

Guess who’s back! It’s been awhile since I lasted posted and also since I’ve been in the kitchen. So here I am with another concoction that I whipped up last night.

I present to you Banana Bread with Craisins. Weirdly enough I’m obsessed with craisins, but I hate raisins; silly right? Well Cranberries vs Raisins, lol.

Ingredients

2-3 overly ripe bananas
1/3 cup melted butter
1 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup craisins
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Method

Preheat oven to 350 F
Butter 4×8 inch loaf pan
Mash ripe bananas
Stir in melted butter
Mix in baking soda and salt
Stir in sugar, egg, extract, cinnamon, craisins
Mix in flour
Pour batter into pan
*As an extra I drizzled honey over the top*
Bake 50 mins – 1 hr
