I got the Liebster Award

*Clears throat*

Guess what guys, I recently got nominated for the Liebster Award! Woohoo.

Sad to say this isn’t my first time being nominated; however, when I first received the nomination I was unsure what to do, and was simply to lazy to pay it any mind. But, here it is once again and I’m ready to give it a shot after reading up on it.

First off I’d like to thank both Diary of a Soul Blogger and Somerberry for nominating me. You guys ROCK!

First off the rules, and to help those unfamiliar with the award to understand.

Liebster Award Rules

1. Thank the person who nominated you and link their blog
2. Answer 10 questions given by the nominator
3. Give 10 facts about yourself
4. Nominate and link blogs that you think are worth discovering
5. Notify the bloggers of their nomination
6. Write 10 new questions for your nominees to answer on their blog

First off, the blogs you nominate should have less than 200 followers. This is done so people can discover new blogs; those that are less common. Now to get into it!

Since I got nominated by two blogs I decided to alternate their questions that they asked me:

1. Do you prefer watching a movie or reading a book? – Movie!
2. Story behind my blog name? – Well, Ali is short for Aaliyah then I remembered the show “As told by Ginger” and thought that would be a cool name for my blog. Much more mature than “Liyah’s World” [P.S. Sorry for the confusion between my header and actual link, changing it soon.]
3. If you were to be an animal in your new life, what would you be? – An Elephant. =) I’ve had an admiration of them for quite some time, even wanted a tattoo of one.
4. How long have you been blogging? – A little over a year
5. What’s your favorite childhood memory? – I’d have to say going out with my grandmother. Little trips to the supermarket, as well as school fairs. #RIP
6. What’s your favorite social media platform? – Instagram! I just love how people showcase their creativity.
7. 3 of my favorite books, and why? – I don’t have a favorite per say, but I’d go with the Harry Potter series, along with any book from James Patterson and John Grisham.
8. How do I feel about being nominated? – Pretty good, to know someone acknowledges my blog and enjoys it is pretty cool.
9. What’s your strongest personality? – My willingness to help other people or my kind heart.
10. My favorite place to go? – The beach!

*phew* Thought I was never going to get done. Since this is lengthy as is, I’m thinking of breaking the rules and shortening it to 5!

Facts about ME!

1. I love pizza and pasta – pepperoni/meat and alfredo to be exact
2. I’m addicted to Netflix
3. I’m NOT a morning person // with or without coffee first
4. I’m attracted to all things which scream creativity
5. I’m 21 with a Bachelor’s degree
