Oh look, it’s March. So, basically January took three months to complete, February took two weeks and now we’re in March. Nonetheless we all set out to complete various tasks this year, month or week and as we may have figured out, time isn’t exactly on our side.
There are times when we feel overwhelmed or too tired to complete a goal this week and we simply decide to give up. Maybe we don’t give up overall, but decide to put it off for the next day/week or the following. Instead of putting it off why not find a way to shorten the amount of time you’d need?
Something is better than nothing.
If you planned to work out for an hour at the gym and something suddenly came up, instead of pushing it to the next day why not try to do some exercise for 30 mins before or after your activity? That way you don’t have to spend excess time getting ready and traveling to the gym, but you can do it right at home for less.
See the thing is, time is tricky. There are 24 hours in a day and we just have to find a way to manage it all. However, time is not the topic of the day; it’s the fact that you always have a choice to do something rather than nothing. You can find a way to make it work.
Look at one of your monthly goals for March, can it be broken down into sections? That way it’s not only easier to complete, but working on it consistently helps you to stay focused and not abandon it in the long run.
Something is better than nothing
What’s better, not doing a task or working on it a little at a time?
