Blogmas Day 3 ~ Year End Bucket List

So there are two more weeks left in the year, or more so sixteen days and you’re probably thinking what can we/I get done in that amount of time. Well, that’s all a part of the challenge a bucket list brings. Today I’m sharing a few things I hope to accomplish before the year ends. Feel free to apply them in your own way ~

1 //  Making peace with my past

This includes any and every “bad” thing that happened in 2017. Letting go of grudges if that means forgiving those who wronged me or forgiving myself, as well as making my amends with anyone I need to. Also, settling any debt or outstanding payments *lol* or at least starting the process.

2 // Finishing things I started

We all start things without fully completing them so this is our chance. Earlier in the year I watched Girl Boss on Netflix, wrote a post which got a lot of attention but still haven’t finished the darn book. I will complete it before the year ends, because I have new additions to start.

3 // Proper planning

Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance. I don’t know about you, but I haven’t put any thought into what I want to accomplish for 2018 yet. Therefore I’ll be using that time to figure out my exact goals and plans; what I hope to change while reflecting on 2017 where things may have gone wrong.

4 // Eliminate one unhealthy habit

Well, I already decreased the amount of KFC I eat for the month of November. I had some today and maybe I can go two more weeks without it. Other than unhealthy eating maybe I can practice time management and less procrastination.

5 // Learn something new

I started practicing Spanish on Duolingo ages ago, and recently I decided to add French to the mix. Let’s see how that goes.

6 // Be nicer to my family

I think that speaks for itself. It’s not all the time I have patience or I’m in a friendly mood so I’ll try to work on that going forward. Gotta always remember “Here today, gone tomorrow.”

Trying my best to enter 2018 on a good note and in a positive way.
What about you guys??
Any challenges before the year ends?

  1. Great list; I’m trying to do similar things before the end of the year! I also try to get everything organized so I can start the new year clutter-free. I’m always hesitant to declare things as ‘New Year’s Resolutions’ because I feel like I try to improve and create new goals throughout the whole year.

  2. We’re so often focused on what we wanna do the next year we forget that we still have a month of this year left. I always like to have a mass bedroom clear out at the end of every year – out with the old, in with the new xxx

This is really useful to do because at the end of a year there’s always room for a new start. My aim is to try to work harder and have more control with what I’m going to do after uni. Thanks for sharing x
