Happy Tuesday, I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend. Since I returned home last summer I made a list of restaurants I’d love to visit. Well, one year later I finally made it to one of my top places.

Garden Grill

Located at Dutchman’s Bay near the airport, Garden Grill serves as a rather open, friendly, picturesque restaurant. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner on select days. We opted for lunch on a Saturday afternoon.

Before you enter, you’re greeted with chalkboard signs welcoming you as well as views of the garden and a pool that you’re welcomed to use. It’s an outdoorsy setting; seating arrangements are under a canopy or up on the deck near the bar/kitchen. It’s always good to make reservations prior to visiting. Unfortunately, Saturday was incredibly hot thus it was slightly uncomfortable.

Due to the popularity of the restaurant on social media I just had to have one of the famous sangrias. My choice was the Sparkling Summer Sangria while my friend had the Lemonade Mojito. P.S they taste as good as they look.

To eat, we decided on burgers to keep it casual; I had the House Burger and my friend had the Firehouse Burger.

House Burger: Grilled 8oz black Angus beef with onion compote, sharp cheddar, bacon, lemon aioli, avocado on Brioche bun served with Sweet Potato fries.

Firehouse Burger: Grilled 8oz black Angus beef with sharp cheddar, bacon, candied jalapenos served with House fries.

I enjoyed EVERYTHING about this meal; I definitely underestimated the size so I had to end up slicing it in two, and only having one half. The patties are homemade and perfectly seasoned, so are the fries plus sweet potato fries are my thing. I really have zero complaints and would definitely try again; my friend however didn’t particularly like their choice of jalapenos.
