Shrimp Lovahh 💕


Recently I’ve been getting tired of cooking the same thing over and over again. So this week I decided to check out Pinterest for some recipes. I mean, why not? I’m always pinning food so why not get some inspiration.

Well today I felt like eating shrimp so I simply typed that into the search bar then selected “quick” to advance the search. Many options came up which I would have loved to try, but I’m also trying to stay away from cheese. Therefore, I found a pasta which was done in garlic butter, and well I just recreated it my way. Hope you enjoy!


• Fettuccine Pasta
• Shrimp
• Olive oil – 2 tbsps
• Butter – 3 tbsps
• Salt *to taste*
• Italian Seasoning
• Garlic Powder
• Lemon Zest – 1 tbsp
• Grated Parmesan Cheese
• Broccoli *optional or any choice of vegetable*

First I started boiling the pasta with a dash of salt to taste as well as olive oil. While that was cooking I marinated the shrimp. I thawed it out first in some salt water then added the garlic powder, vegetable oil and lemon zest. Stirred the mixture together, and left to marinate until the pasta was close to finished. I cooked the broccoli in the pasta water while it was still cooking. Place butter into frying pan, add garlic powder then when it began to bubble I added the shrimp. I cooked the shrimp until it began to turn pink. Strain pasta, but save about 1/4 cup of the water. Proceed to mix everything together along with the cooking water to make it more fluid. Tadaa, now you have a nice pot of Garlic Butter Shrimp and Broccoli Pasta.
